Kommt mit... Ich nehme euch mit auf einen Spaziergang durch die in die spanische Küstenstadt Cadiz. Wir schlendern durch die schmalen Gassen der malerischen Stadt und kreuzen einen Herrn mit vielen bunten Ballons . Dann suchen wir die vielen Plätze und mit Bäumen gesäumten Parks. Wir ergattern uns ein sonniges Plätzchen in einem der vielen Bars und trinken einen Kaffee. Dabei beobachten wir dass alltägliche Treiben und die wenigen Touristen der Nebensaison. Da es aber auch hier langsam kühler wird und ein feiner Wind durch die Gassen zieht, setzten wir uns mit Jacke und Bier an einen der vielen kleinen Sandstrände am Meeresrand. Hier schauen wir den wartenden Fischer und der sonnenhungrigen Anwohnern zu. Und am Ende werden wir mit einem magischen Sonnenuntergang belohnt.
Come with me... I take you on a walk through the Spanish coastal town of Cadiz. We stroll through the narrow streets of the picturesque town and cross a gentleman with many colourful balloons. Then we look for the many squares and tree-lined parks. We grab a sunny spot in one of the many bars and have a coffee. We watch the daily hustle and bustle and the few tourists in the low season. As it is slowly getting cooler here and a fine wind is blowing through the streets, we sit down with our jackets and beers on one of the many small sandy beaches at the edge of the sea. Here we watch the waiting fishermen and the sun-hungry residents. And in the end we are rewarded with a magical sunset.
Ven conmigo... Le llevo a dar un paseo por la ciudad costera española de Cádiz. Paseamos por las estrechas calles de la pintoresca ciudad y cruzamos un caballero con muchos globos de colores. Luego buscamos las numerosas plazas y parques arbolados. Cogemos un sitio soleado en uno de los muchos bares y nos tomamos un café. Observamos el ajetreo diario y los pocos turistas en temporada baja. Como aquí va refrescando poco a poco y sopla un fino viento en las calles, nos sentamos con nuestras chaquetas y cervezas en una de las muchas pequeñas playas de arena al borde del mar. Aquí observamos a los pescadores que esperan y a los residentes hambrientos de sol. Y al final somos recompensados con una mágica puesta de sol.
Cadiz ist eine weitere Station auf unserer Reise durch Andalusien auf der Suche nach dem Rest des Sommers. Schon nach der Überfahrt über die majestätische weisse Brücke fühlte ich mich wohl in dieser geografisch auf einer Halbinsel gelegenen Stadt. Geschichtlich zogen hier schon viele bekannte Völker und Persönlichkeiten hier vorbei. Bereits 1000 Jahre v. Chr. wurde hier ein phönizischer Handelsplatz gegründet und später von den Römern übernommen. Und auch Hannibal kam auf seinen Feldzügen hier vorbei. Durch ihre strategisch gute Lage konnte die Stadt nie wirklich erobert werden und war ein wichtiger Ausgangspunkt zur Entdeckung und Eroberung der Neuen Welt.
Cadiz is another stop on our journey through Andalusia in search of the rest of the summer. Already after crossing the majestic white bridge, I felt at home in this city geographically located on a peninsula. Historically, many famous peoples and personalities have passed through here. As early as 1000 years BC, a Phoenician trading post was founded here and later taken over by the Romans. Hannibal also passed through here on his campaigns. Due to its strategically good location, the city could never really be conquered and was an important starting point for the discovery and conquest of the New World.
Cádiz es otra parada en nuestro viaje por Andalucía en busca del resto del verano. Ya después de cruzar el majestuoso puente blanco, me sentí como en casa en esta ciudad situada geográficamente en una península. Históricamente, muchos pueblos y personalidades famosas han pasado por aquí. Ya en el año 1.000 a.C. se fundó aquí un puesto comercial fenicio que posteriormente fue tomado por los romanos. Aníbal también pasó por aquí en sus campañas. Debido a su buena ubicación estratégica, la ciudad nunca pudo ser conquistada y fue un importante punto de partida para el descubrimiento y la conquista del Nuevo Mundo.

Wirklich wunderbare Fotos, ich liebe das Grün und das Meer, hier sind die Blätter schon gefallen und ein kalter Winter kommt. Die Inschrift auf der Brücke ist wirklich interessant Geld wird nicht gegessen.
Cadiz hat mir unglaublich gut gefallen. Hat sich auch von Anfang an gut angefühlt. Ich denke wegen dem allumgebendem Meer. Und ich denke der Mauerschriftzug deutet wohl darauf hin, dass man Geld nicht essen kann und steift damit die airbnb-tourismus-problematik.
