Good morning. All my wonderful friends.. It's another wonderful Sunday. I recently went to eat Korean fried chicken at RECHARGE.
The fried chicken that is made in this restaurant is crunchy. You can choose many different types of flavours.
This restaurant is quite popular with Bruneians as well as locals alike.
Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant is accessible from the city. The first impression is that it is clean and modern. This place serves beer but does not feel too intimidating as what a pub would be.
This restaurant specializes in Korean Fried Chicken. You can choose various seasonings for the fried chicken that suit your taste.
Makgeolli -
flavoured rice wine.
Ordered a Matcha latte instead. One of the best things in life from my view is sitting there enjoying the afternoon eating lunch with a cup of coffee no matter what flavour it could be.
The amount of Matcha that is used is quite strong and concentrated.
A plate of toppoki. This is made from glutinous rice and dipped into a sour sweet sauce. Something that replaces rice in Malaysia. My wife loves eating this as the texture of the topokki is quite chewy and soft. You get to exercise your jaw while eating each bit of topokki.
A lot of the food that I showcase on my post is due to my wife who loves hunting for new places to eat. I would have not known what topokki was.
Finally, the signature dish that is offered from this restaurant. This is the
Salted Egg Flavoured
Korean fried chicken. One of the key differences from the normal fried chicken is the crispiness of each bite. You can feel each crunch as you bite into each of them.
After eating here and paying my bills.
The food here is quite satisfactory. Most of the food served were quite clean and well prepared.
I went out of the restaurant and saw this beautiful tree with white flowers blooming. This caught my eye so I decided to take a photo of the tree.
That was an afternoon well spent.

I'm super curious with korean fries chicken I am sure they are different ro the fried chicken that I'm used to. Their fries chicken looks really flavorful especially it has a lot of flavors as well 🤤
