In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Thursday, March 21st, 2019. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market and the price of WTI and Brent crude oil.
With the Federal Reserve doing a complete about-face in its monetary policy at yesterday's FOMC meeting I look at how the U.S. Central Bank uses the bogus excuse of "low inflation" to justify inflating the biggest credit bubble ever seen history.
So today I look at how the definition of the word inflation has been corrupted and how the Fed and the government use this to fool the general public about the true rise in the cost of living and on the flip side about the true debasement of the currency they need to use for their economic survival.
My conclusion is that one would be better off at looking at the Big Mac Index to find out the real rise in the cost of living. The only reason the Fed needs to keep this charade going is that if they increased interest rates to where they should really be their massive credit bubble would pop. That said with their credibility in the dumps the about-face in monetary policy might not be enough from stopping the bursting of the Everything Bubble.
