"Comex Is Nothing But a Price Setting Mechanism", Says Former Floor Broker

in #market8 years ago

In this report, I interview, Carlos Perez-Santalla, a former floor broker on the Commodities Exchange or Comex in New York.

In this interview, Carlos talks about how the futures markets have changed from floor trading to screen trading. The focus of our talk is the gold and silver futures and how the Comex price sets the price for physical gold even though there is actually virtually no gold changing hands on the exchange.

good interview. Wish the price was created more against the actual market value for the hard goods. I guess the artificial price can be beneficial you just have to play the game better.
