Good morning dear readers, I hope you feel great, you are welcome once again to my art blog, today I bring you a drawing something different and it is a drawing in gray and white colors, several times I have tried to do with this type of drawings using these colors although I never finish them completely, and this would be the first time I do one to share it around here, for this drawing I wanted to do something not so complicated to try a little this style and I decided to draw the actor Daniel Radcliffe using these gray colors both light and dark, in this post I want to show you the whole process of how I made this drawing which I hope you like:
Buen día queridos lectores, espero se encuentren genial, sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog de arte, le día de hoy les traigo un dibujo algo diferente y se trata de un dibujo en colores grises y blancos, en varias ocasiones he intentado hacer con este tipo de dibujos utilizando estos colores aunque nunca los termino del todo, y esta sería la primera vez que hago uno para compartirlo por aquí, para este dibujo quise hacer algo no tan complicado para probar un poco este estilo y decidí dibujar al actor Daniel Radcliffe utilizando estos colores grises tanto claros como oscuros, en este post quiero enseñarles todo el proceso de cómo hice este dibujo el cual espero les guste:
PROCESS / PROCESO
I started by making a preliminary sketch with some lines, then I made the outline so that the drawing would be better structured.
Partí haciendo un boceto previo con algunas líneas, luego realice el lineado para que el dibujo quedara mejor estructurado.
First I used a medium gray color to start painting the skin of the character in the drawing, then with a much lighter gray tone I added some glows to the face, and with a darker gray color than the original I added some brushstrokes in different areas of the face completely opposite to where the glows were, this I did so that the face would gradually take some volume and look more realistic.
Primero utilice un color gris medio para comenzar a pintar la piel del personaje del dibujo, luego con un tono de gris mucho más claro fui agregando algunos brillos a la cara, y con un color de gris más oscuro que el original fui agregando algunas pinceladas en diferentes zonas de la cara totalmente opuestas a donde estaban los brillos, esto lo hice para que el rostro fuera agarrando poco a poco algo de volumen y se viera más realista.
For the hair use a very but very dark shade of gray, almost reaching the color black but leaving an opportunity to darken it a little more when adding the shadows to the hair, little by little add the shadows and many locks of hair in light colors to make the hair look much more realistic.
Para el cabello utilice un tono de gris muy pero muy oscuro, casi que llegando al color negro pero dejando oportunidad para oscurecerlo un poco más cuando agregara las sombras al cabello, poco a poco agregue las sombras y muchos mechones de cabello en colores claros para que se viera mucho más realista el pelo.
The part of the shirt I must say that I took the longest, first because I painted each picture one by one to have better detail, but especially because this shirt had different shades of color and I had to change a lot from one gray to another on several occasions.
La parte de la camisa debo decir que fui en la que más me demore, primero por que pinte cada cuadro uno por uno para tener mejor detalle, pero sobretodo porque esta camisa llevaba diferentes tonalidades de color y me toco cambiar mucho de un gris a otro en varias oportunidades.
Finally, to better complement the drawing I wanted to add some last shadows and highlights, especially on the hair and eyes to achieve the semi-realistic result I wanted at first.
Por último para complementar mejor el dibujo quise agregar unas últimas sombras y brillos, sobretodo en el pelo y los ojos para lograr el resultado semi-realista que deseaba en un principio.

Muchas gracias, si lo pensé, pero segun tengo entendido que Onchainart es una comunidad para arte original, y como mi dibujo es mas como un retrato de una persona que ya existe no quise tener problemas allí.
Entiendo que lo que no se puede es copiar el trabajo de otra gente, pero seguro le puedes escribir a alguno de los moderadores a ver que opinan.
La tecnología ha permitido el auge del diseño digital. Vas por buen camino. Sigue así.
