no tiene amigas,
por eso anda solita.
She is Clementina, a very shy leaf,
she doesn't have any friends, that's why she walks alone.
Siempre busca en el cielo,
al sol amarillento,
lo espera sin sufrimiento,
sentada en un asiento.
The leaf always searches the sky for the yellow sun,
waits for it calmly sitting on a seat.
Y cuando el sol llega,
la hoja se alegra,
un globo infla con fuerza
y hasta allá se eleva,
para que la fotosíntesis sea hecha.
When the sun arrives the leaf rejoices and a balloon inflates with force, then
up to there it rises in order to photosynthesize.
Que bonita es esta hoja solitaria,
que hace fotosíntesis de forma mágica.
How beautiful is this solitary leaf,
which photosynthesizes in a magical way.
