Hello everyone,
Good evening and how was your day? Mine was fun , lovely and educating. Why all these pretty adjectives? The reason behind this was that as a farmer you have to be very active, reliable, truthful, trustworthy and very current in every day to day activities and to learn more and gain more knowledge. I was opportuned to visit one of my bro fish pond where I was also planning to get one or two fish pond for commercial purposes to feed myself and my family members as a whole.
- As a farmer, I'm very eager to know more and acquire knowledge about many animals, be it plant, or any other thing. So this evening I would be showing you some of the pictures I took when I went to make enquiries about fish farming, pond clearing, pond treatment, fish stocking, fish sorting out.
Here was my arrival from Ita Alamu Area of ilorin town to a small village called Agric, sango along kulende ilorin. The fish farm is very large, big and very easily accessible. Motorable and can be reached with tricycle or bike.
Here is one of 20 fish pond with cat fish. This particular fish pond was stocked four weeks ago.
This particular pond is not yet stock. But still on renovation. It is 20 by 30.
In Conclusion :
It is good to search for knowledge and make use of it. When u seek you find, knowledge that is not attained until you practice and put what you have learnt into existence. The fish pond is a means of livelihood for the farmers. There are many stages involved, the clearing of the pond, the treating of the pond, the stocking, the sorting out ,the harvesting.
