Farmlivelihood Update:- Progress in The Rabbitry Section Welcome 4 New Bunnies into The Homestead (16/2/2019)

in #farms7 years ago

Hello everyone,

Despite the weather condition changes which affect our animal productivity growth and development we still made up our mind to further action and progress which will make us grow more. This is the farm update coming from @matthewtonyit who has been playing supportive manager role since day one.

THE FARM UPDATE 👆:

I mated this particular rabbit which I have been rearing for over 8 months now took in not as a first timer but regular basis for which I had mated its several times, I did the normal Buck mating at exactly 16th of January 2019 which I wrote down the date for record purpose. So I carefully carried it back after the mating period of two day and I started counting from the day one mating. I had to do some practical check up for it which I called " Rabbit Palpate"

HOW DO YOU PALPATE A RABBIT?

  • You can actually do this, I mean palpate a mother rabbit not only mother rabbit but a pregnant mother rabbit by using your two hand in the act, using the first left hand to grab your pregnant mother rabbit firm at the long ear reaching or touching its back fur grabbing it well then use your second hand to feel its stomach region to see if there are something like small balls growing in there. This small ball are called young growing rabbit you can palpate your pregnant mother rabbit from day 10 after mating with a male. You can also watch more here via this link.
    how to palpate your rabbit.

After the Palpation I confirmed the growing offspring so I gave the mother rabbit a absolute maximum care by feeding regularly with no excuse feeding. Today been the 16th day of February it gave birth to four new cute bunnies. Wow, I'm so happy.

  • In my left hand I have those four cute bunnies ,I intended to show them because many do believe that some post on steem blockchain are copy and paste maybe not original work. But for me I show all my pictures every single post to confirm that this is original post by @matthewtonyit sometimes I do include YouTube link as well.

  • You can see and testify to this that it's a original work by me. Those cute bunnies laying down calm in my hand.

What Next?

After spending several minutes with the mother rabbit I had to stay for more minutes to see for myself if truly its really taking care of its offspring I saw it twice when the mother rabbit fed it new offspring to my face. Wow. Excellent work done.

In conclusion :

Having a pregnant mother rabbit is one thing, having a pregnant caring mother is another thing. It best to have the second type of mother rabbit who is able to care for its offspring no matter how much you touch it new born babies. I like to make more difference. I like to make more impact in everything I do. I like original work.

  • I am proud to be a farmer 💖💖💖💖
