Actually, AI will change the world through its ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and expertise in subjects where it would take a human multiple lifetimes to achieve only a part of the AIs mastery.
There is a huge misconception that AI, automation, and robots are all the same thing. Robots might take all of our jobs one day. However, these are most likely not going to be the "intelligent" robots.
