This website visualizes the 100,000 most popular Wikipedia articles as skyscrapers. I struggle to explain why but it is great fun. Have a guess what the most read article was in the last year! Source: wikicity.appView activityView activityI... I don't know why the felt the need to add the feature to shoot and throw missiles. And I can't really move normally in the Explorer mode. Good idea, just not very intuitiveReally cool idea but absolutely unusable UI :(Also HUGE THANKS for including the link! I hate when people post cool stuff and they don't share the link. All they have to do is copy-paste, but whatever.

Also love the use of three.js. Very awesome framework.

And you can fly through the city!My first thought when I saw the image before reading the post.This visualisation is very close to how the Matrix is described in Neuromancer
