The cow is our mother. I have been reading and hearing this since my childhood. In fact this is not wrong. She gives us milk. We drink milk and use it to make tea. Other than that cow milk is used to make several dairy products. Cow dung is also very useful. It helps to make dung cakes and biogas that work as fuel. It is also used to make fertilizer/pesticide.
I have seen mud houses in my village. Even our house was made of earth clay. However, most houses in village has now been concrete. It is now hardly seen mud house in village. My grandmother used to mix cow dung with clay and wipe the house floor with it. It excellently works as thermal insulator which keeps house cool in summer and warm in winter.
