What a great post! I've never been to Cornwall, but the castles there are packed with history and I really should visit (I doubt I will now).
King Arthur hails from that place - the Once and Future King!

Yes, Tintagel is closely linked with King Arthur, apparently there's a big statue of him on the island, sadly didn't get to see that.
If you have a chance, it's worth visiting Cornwall, but maybe go in summer when the weather is much nicer.
