I was able to go off on my own for a little bit today and take some shots down by the creek. I talked about where I'm at in this post so I won't bother re-explaining that bit here.
In general I think I kinda like to make my photos look like paintings. Shooting to get a lot of information in there with no real blacks or whites. It's one of those painting rules that people tend to say. No pure blacks and no pure whites. I suppose painting ended up shaping my aesthetic that way.

Stayed on the shore this time around and managed to keep both of my shoes on my feet.

I thought this one had an interesting abstract pattern in the way the light is coming through the leaves.
That'll probably do it for my photos from this trip as other than the creek, there's just trees, trees, and more trees.

And here is a bonus random image made from that last image of the leaves of an alien DMT trip.
Hope you all like!
Are they all different types of trees though? :D
Did you manage to get over without stacking this time? ;D
Big trees?
I think my creek crossing days are pretty much over. I'll stick to crossing streets from now on :p
exquisite!
suitable to be a campsite..
Good jobs my friend ;)
Thanks!
Welcome :)
You've seriously managed to capture the absolute beauty of this creek and it sounds like you live near it. Lucky you!
I look forward to more!
This is one of mine but unfortunately I don't live near it anymore- it would be a five day drive to get there- or 6hrs on a plane- even though we're still in the same country...lol...

I am looking at when I will have some time and money to go for some adventures. It is fun seeing new things and environment. Among the pictures in this post, I like this one.
Enjoy you time and life!
Such a wonderful scenery you have here. I could just imagine myself getting lost deep in thoughts and meditations just taking a quiet stroll here... Just like how you lost your flip-flops XD. Wonderful photos too, though I can't shake it off my head that this looks like a crocodile/alligator (I don't know the difference). Doesn't it look like croc's head?
