Calculate power down rate
I was wondering how to calculate my power down rate out of curiosity. After some trial and error I found out how to do it, but only partially. I knew how to calculate the interest you get on you steempower. After asking my math teacher for a little help he gave me some tips that helped me into the right direction.
A template
After my teacher helped me to get into the right direction I figured that I could put it all in an excel file and upload it for everyone on the steemit community. Since there wasn’t really a template available.
I will shortly explain about this template. For example, you have 200 SP and you want to know how much you can power down in 4 weeks, this is how the excel file will show this.

As you can see after powering down for 4 weeks when you started off with 200SP you will actually end up wit 221.129 SP Wich is 21.129 more than you started out with.
The template I made shows this over the full 104 week period. The only thing required to calculate your power down rate it the amount of SP in the first cell in the template.

But how do you calculate interest rate on SP ?
I believe interest is by your account day, it is 10 % per annum paid monthly on that days balance of steem power . . .
No, 10% per annum is your interest on SBD ( it can be adjusted by witnesses)
Your interest rate for SP is not so transparent , but it's more like 10% per month

indeed @bitcalm, and as you can see there it usually goes up and down around 0.5% so I took that as being the interest and then because its weekly there is a small formula, let's do it with 200 again.
200*1.005^(7)= 207.1058794
