Hello splinterlands family
I am starting my today's gaming article by greeting everyone. Those who regularly play Splinterlands know how important and exciting Guild Brawl is in this game. After several days of fierce battles, another Guild Brawl ended today and I am very happy to announce that the results this time were quite excellent for me. Personally, I won 9 out of 9 battles, that is, I finished this Brawl with a 100% win record. As a reward, I received 7,886 Merits and 101,183 Staked SPS (SPS). This is a very big achievement for my game progress.
In today's article, I will mainly discuss a special battle of mine where I used a great lineup. This battle was against a player named Veruna who is a member of the CZSK Elite Guild. The mana cap for the battle was 52 and the ruleset was Holy Protection. Due to this ruleset, all cards initially receive a Divine Shield that protects the card from the first hit. In addition, there was an opportunity to use Earth and Life cards as elements.
The main character of my battle was the summoner Eternal Tofu. This is a legendary Earth summoner. The main reason for using this summoner is its multiple abilities. It gives all my cards an extra 2 health which helps them survive the battle. It also gives all cards the Snare and Thorns abilities. Due to the presence of Thorns, if someone from the opposing team attacks my card, they will take damage. Besides, this summoner's Triage and Scavenger abilities made my team stronger.
Now I will briefly share some information about the cards I used. I put Skrag the Gnaw first. Its health and armor are quite good and it has a poison burst ability that poisons the opponent when it dies. In second position I put the most powerful card in my team, Quora Towershead. There is nothing new to say about Quora. Its bloodlust ability makes it stronger after every kill and its healing power keeps it alive in the fight for a long time.
Then I used Lord Thanalor. It is a magic attacker and its Amplify ability further increased the Thorns damage given by my summoner. Next was Forlorn Geomant whose 5 magic damage was enough to destroy the opponent. Finally, I used Ironwing Juggernaut. Although it is a melee attacker, it can attack from any position due to its charge ability.
Now I will share with you the round-by-round situation of the battle. In the first round, the cards of both sides were busy fighting to break each other's Divine Shield. Since it was a big fight of 52 mana, no one was able to suppress the other much in the beginning. However, when my Quora started her magic and melee attacks, the opponent's cards started to weaken.
After moving to the second round, Quora picked up her first kill and Bloodlust activated. This increased all her stats by 1. The opponent's Venary Bonesmith and Riftwing were getting seriously damaged due to the Thorns damage of my cards. Before the end of round 2, I knew that I was sure of winning.
By the third and fourth rounds, my team started to completely dominate. The opponent's big magic and mela cards were collapsing one by one. Quora's power had increased a lot and she was recovering her health every round. Due to the Thorns and Sneer ability given by Summoner, the opponent's flying cards were not able to do any good.
When the game ended in the fifth round, Veruna's team had only 2-1 cards left. My Lord Thanalor and Forlorn Geomancer were finishing the fight with their huge magic damage. Finally, I achieved a complete victory in the sixth round. From this fight, I again got proof that it is possible to win any tough fight with the right combination of cards like Summoner and Quora.
These victories in Guild Brawl help a lot in increasing our guild's ranking. I personally like to participate in every Brawl because the merits obtained from here can be used to buy Gladiator Packs, which are very important for survival in the game.
