I took this photo of a Dragonfly while visiting a local garden centre using my ancient smartphone.
It looked straight at me as I tried to get close in to get a clearer shot. This is the best I could get before it flew off.
It was kind of like, 'who is looking at who'? 😀

Dragonfly
The Dragonfly was in this bush. Can you see it?
There are many dragonfly species and this is where you can find more details on this one. Source

Remember to stop and smell the Rose's from time to time.
Slow down and look a bit closer. You may be surprised with what you will find?
These flowers below were so fragrant it made me stop and actually smell them.

That is a great dragonfly photo! I think they are so fascinating. And those roses. I would be stopping to smell them, too!
It was interesting to see it's eye's swivelling to keep an eye on me 😀
Wish I'd had my Canon with me to get better focus.
The rose plants were so fragrant. It was a wonderful experience to smell all the varieties and their subtle differences. Pure joy.
Yes I could spot the dragonfly in the second shot quite a big one and nice to walk around the garden Centre ;)
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)
It was quite a big dragonfly, at least 4 inches long nose to tail and it's swivelling eyes were amazing to watch.
I think I might invest in a macro lens...eventually. 🐛🐞🐜👍
WOW that is a big one, I don't think I have ever seen one that big, A macro lens is cool to have for sure I do love mine even though I haven't had time to use it as much as I would like as of yet
My son is so cute with this. He is always making a point of smelling the flowers we stop to look at and photograph. We went to a nature museum the other day and he could name all the local birds and I was like .... yes ... he is learning:)
Lovely post, Michael:)
Thanks Pryde, that is a great feeling when you hear your son's knowledge coming to the fore. Excellent work mum. 👍
Howdy sir molometer! Nice shot especially for an ancient cell phone! lol. Wonderful rose photos too, I can almost smell them!
