I already commented on the Youtube video, but this does look good for around £80. My Zoom G3X is a few years old, so things have moved on a bit. Any beginner should get something like this to get a decent sound as well as useful practice tools. Playing to a beat or creating backing tracks in a loop are great for motivating you.

I've been on it today and got right into the zone! Two hours later and I was still playing around.
