On the indionisian isle of Bali I found a peace that resemble this quiet time of quarantine, outside the touristic center of Kuta, driving on a motorbike on the beautiful seaside roads or the mountain one, passing by small villages and meeting with the peaceful people of the place.Stopping at a petrol station that is a little cart selling potion of petrol 1 litre at a time.
All the gifts to the entities that people give in the morning rites,bamboo leaves rolled into small open boxes where flowers, candies, food and sigarettes are offered to the deities.
And in this idilliac mood we walked up to the temples

The lake temple lost way up in the mountains, were the air started to get really fresh, but maybe that was due to a storm coming, sits there in the shallow water with top of the mountains making a half crown around it

Immersed in the water of the Pacific stand strong against the waves, when the tide go down is the moment you can easily get on it from the beach.
Now I'm not looking to much in the details of notes I taken by how this temple are working, just sharing them visually, because just that alone is a spiritual wonder to me, but also going south from Kuta, wich I finded to be your tourist city 101 there were this new construction, a giant incomplete Garuda statue, with a temple and a theme park and souvenirs store...it proveked such a dissonance with the armony of the other temples, I did not mind the idea of this big statue but then seeing it in reality reminded me of how profit focus are the things we do nowdays, and how to me in the end dont add any real value to the world.
