Infiltrating the Mongol Lookout.

in Gaming Photography3 days ago

While clearing the perimeter, I assassinated a Mongol near a beehive before using a rear opening to bypass guarded front doors. After neutralizing a guard on a high platform, my flute drew out horn-blowers whom I quickly stopped. Then I destroyed the alarm and signaled the Ronin.

When I was clearing the perimeter around the tower first, I found another Mongol guarding a site right beside a beehive, so I assassinated that Mongol and then I checked on the beehive, without disturbing the bees cause I know they're as dangerous as the real world's ones.

Then I was looking for a way to get inside the tower, but the entrance was guarded by two Mongols at once, which made it difficult for me to push through directly.

Fortunately, I found an alternative way from the back of the tower and I squeezed through a tight space before climbing up a ladder, while the guards on the entrance had no idea about what was going to happen.

After climbing up a little, I found a Mongol on a height who was doing some chores around, and I assassinated him real fast to keep my presence hidden.

And after climbing on the top of the tower where I should have destroyed the alarm system, I first stopped there to play some flutes to enjoy the quiet moment, cause the night environment and the beautiful moon kinda stopped me there.

I never thought my flute would attack Mongols up on the tower but it did, and right after getting up there, a Mongol was about to blow horn so I attacked him quickly.

There came another Mongol following the previous one and he also tried to blow up his horn real fast but I was there to stop him at the perfect moment. I didn't delay a moment, I just jumped on him right when he started blowing the horn.

I still didn't want to take chance so I destroyed the alarm and lit fire on the tower to give the Ronin permission to attack right away, cause there could be more Mongols coming my way and if one of them could blow their horn, my peaceful infiltration could go wrong.

The Ronin's started charging inside and were slaying down any Mongols they were finding on their way, while Jin climbed down the tower to join them in the chaotic battle.

In my opinion, the horn-blowers were the most annoying enemies in this section. But you reached them immediately and prevented both of them from raising the alarm, that was amazing. Well played bro

Stopping at the tower to play the flute under the moon was highly cinematic. It looked peaceful, but it apparently acted as a literal magnet for the angry Mongols.

Well played, I don't remember exactly, but if you climb to the roof of that pagoda there's a collectible.

I like how the calm moment with the flute contrasted with the action that followed. The peaceful atmosphere on top of the tower lasted only briefly before everything turned into a race to destroy the alarm and trigger the assault, creating a great change of pace.
