A few years ago, someone gave me a wonderful surprise — the kind only genuine surprises can be. Without me expecting it, she picked up my guitar, the one I keep hanging on the wall gathering dust, and with a smile began to play a few chords. Then came the lyrics to something I found beautiful, and I recognised it immediately… it was one of my poems.
Wow, I got so nervous I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t believe it, and I think my happiness was obvious. There are people like that, who have those small gestures that make the soul dance with joy.
But yesterday… oh Universe, after reading a post here on Hive that mentioned a… 😏 a way of making music, I felt very curious, and I have to admit it: I was absolutely amazed by what I got after a few clumsy attempts.

Yes, my dears, it’s an Artificial Intelligence — it took it less than 10 seconds to create four versions of this song… sorry, it’s a little poem I wrote. I shared it with @enraizar one day, if I remember correctly. 😄 Of course I remember — it’s in the comments of this post.
But let me share the prompt with you so that SUNO AI could create this:
The song opens with lush ambient synth pads creating an expansive atmosphere, Layers of rhythmic arpeggios and electronic percussion gradually build, introducing syncopated bass and evolving textures, A steady crescendo intensifies the progressive hype, peaking with euphoric synth leads.
I gave it the poem in the section where you can enter lyrics, although the AI can create the whole song for you with just a few words if you want. Another prompt for that… I also told it that I wanted a female voice, and I think you can even choose musical instruments and whatever else you like — just give it the details you want in the prompt.
Yes, this is scary.
But I won’t deny that I loved it.
I told you it gives you four versions instantly. It lets you download two of them for free, but it warns you that you can’t use them commercially. And it gives you two one‑minute versions, obviously incomplete, so that if you feel tempted, you can pay the subscription — 8 dollars a month if you pay for the whole year, or 10 if you only pay for one month — and then you get access to many other things, including the right to commercialise your creations.

No, no, no… I’m absolutely "flipando en colores" 🤣 (flipping out) with this, as the Spaniards say.
For the English speakers, I translated another poem of mine. With that one I did make a few adjustments, with the help of another AI — Copilot — because my English doesn’t stretch that far. And I adapted it into music.

Listen to that and tell me what you think. This is also published here on Hive.
So I’d like us to debate these things. The topic of AI is a bit thorny here on Hive, I know. Some people have even lost their jobs because of it. This is truly sad… or is it pushing us to look for other opportunities? To grow in some other way? To adapt to a new rhythm? Do you feel it’s a danger, or an open door to new possibilities?
Because in my case, I have many mixed emotions. AI helps me translate. AI helps me create a musical version of a poem I wrote myself. AI is being useful to me in many ways, and right now, at this moment, it’s great fun to create songs from my poems. Maybe I’ll go for it and pay for a month to… I don’t know. The idea of setting my poems to music and starting a YouTube channel has crossed my mind. Why not?
The debate is now open… I’d love to read all your thoughts on the matter.
Here’s another poem for you… oh Universe, what a tender thing. With two voices this time, female and male. I’m honestly very impressed.

| Here I don’t just share stats. I post my best workouts, training insights, and the stories behind them. |

It's great that you're exploring these paths! I've done it too, and the results surprised me as well with my poems, haha... Thanks for sharing your words with us!
Since I usually live under a rock, I only discovered SUNO the day before yesterday — even though yesterday I remembered I’d actually seen it before. Thanks to you!
that happens...
Suno, didn't try anything recently, but did when it was released.
Back then, already interesting output.
More than a decade ago, AI already proved to be able to compose (classical) music which moved humans emotionally when played by an orchestra in the Royal Albert Hall in London. Today, with services such as Suno, next streps have been created.
Many AI artists around already. Manual producers, using traditional software (and hardware) start to us AI as well. Most of them to shape their manual/electronic sounds, but some of them take AI as the basis and fine tune by 'hand'.
Spotify is quickly filled with AI-generated music. The percentage of uploaded tracks each single day grew from around 5% or something like that a year ago, to around 30 or 40% end of last year.
To start your own channel on YT. Why not. Many AI channels are already around in YT. The trick with all such social media platforms is, to get audience. If yiou like to get an audience :) Personally, I will continue listening the 'non-AI' music though. I somehow like to support the artists who put 'traditional' effort into their creations. But am sure, many others will listen to whatever they like, regardless how the music is created.
Good morning, @edje. It turns out I discovered SUNO rather late, and honestly all those AI‑usage statistics are a bit overwhelming. I was genuinely curious, though, and I enjoyed playing around with my poems — giving them a different kind of wrapping. But I’m well aware that, since I don’t know anything about music, what I can do is minimal, or rough, or perhaps the combinations I make don’t make much sense at all, hahaha… I also like supporting traditional artists who really put in the effort. I started listening to songs created entirely by AI on there, and they’re strange, sort of cold… I don’t quite know how to describe them… but when I look at the lyrics I can tell they’re not human. Still, I think not everyone can tell what’s fake and what’s real.
Thanks for stopping by!
That is in general what people say when listening to AI music. Am pretty sure, in a few years, AI music will not sound cold anymore.
We must enjoy to the fullest all that is real and human before AI devours us :(
Absolutely 👍
I'm one of those people who refuses to use AI, but then I find myself using Hive's AI translator and, well, my hypocrisy haha 😂 it's useful in many cases, but like everything in life, it's misused and even abused, but that's inevitable, it's always been that way, even when they were just chipping stones 😂
Sometimes I don't know what's real and what's not, and that bothers me a lot haha but I think I would use it to play, just like I used to play with my Barbies. You can play around with creating songs 🙌
The YouTube channel would tell you to find out more because last year YT changed their monetization policies and no longer accept monetizing videos that use a large percentage of AI, unless you just want to share it as a hobby or for fun haha
Hi Buhito. I use AI for translation and I try to make it keep my structure. I think I can usually spot a text written by AI, because it has constructions that don’t feel human — they feel sort of lifeless — but I know not everyone can see that. The whole issue of AI use is really complicated, because it’s been used for a long time now in campaigns to spread misinformation and create chaos. And people tend to stick with the first thing they see, without checking or investigating the matter. As for creation, it’s sad when someone who considers themselves a creator isn’t able to make something on their own and relies on this. I’m not — I’m not a musician, nor do I pretend to be one, hahaha… I’m just playing around a bit. As for monetising, that’s not really an option for me since I live in Cuba and I can’t do that from here. It was just an idea that crossed my mind; I struggle a bit to put ideas into practice.
😂🤣
AI has its uses in this world, I use it when I want suggestions for an itinerary for when I travel. But when I search for videos on YouTube to see the place, the AI generated videos have no life and the voice over can't even pronounce the words properly like "castle" they say "cas tell".
I tried out Suno, it was fun and easy to use, and as a non artist it was nice that I could create something. I'm sure I can use AI to create a painting and write a poem or story, but there will be no soul and life in it.
I'm not against AI in life, but not on Hive. I prefer originality, authenticity, and life engagement. And I think we should maintain a level playing field for everyone.
The use of AI dehumanises us. Texts don’t feel warm; they feel packaged in something false. And those SUNO voices, I think they all sound alike — or remind me of someone I’ve already heard. It’s like a factory producing something that shouldn’t be made that way, shouldn’t be serialised. It ought to remain shaped and created with calm, with patience, with effort. With that unique spark we all have, which writers call our own inner voice. So I agree with you, and I’m not in favour of AI on Hive either. AI has undoubtedly evolved. It’s been evolving for years, but it still feels soulless.
As a creator here, I’ve often felt tempted never to write in English again, because when I use AI translators my texts lose the warmth with which I write them in my native language — even though I always try to keep them as close as possible to the tone in which they were conceived. I would lose many followers, just as I lost some when I started writing in English. So I think it’s about putting the right dose of responsibility into what we do, and finding a balance. All of us here like to have comments on our posts, and we want what we create to reach people, to be valued.
The world is already moving at a speed that sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable. And I want to get off, I want to get off… 😶
good afternoon @nanixxx. The debate is very interesting.
One of the disastrous consequences of the use of IA can be seen on a platform like YouTube. Which is inundated with videos made with IA and of very poor quality. Many of these videos are just videos cloned from other videos, twin scripts made with IA, superficial and at times with errors repeated in numerous videos.
Though also, I have the idea that the iA can be a great help to good creators. To contribute to the debate and how the subject of music has been touched upon.
What I hope is that this whole industry of fake artists, of artists "manufactured" by the industry will disappear. Besides, I think it's fair. If as an artist they have no more talent than a soulless thing like the IA, they should have no place in the world of creation.
The IA opens up a bunch of possibilities. Now you can create songs in 10 seconds and that's great. People like me can play being musicians. But without the soul of true musicians.
I don't know if it's clear what I'm thinking... anyway I leave here my pinites as a fake musician and pirate poet.

I leave it here, thanking @nanixxx for the mention.
A very big hug!!
Hola @enraizar,
It’s such a pleasure to read your thoughts.
With that, you’ve said it all! And yes, you’re absolutely right.
Still, how lovely the adaptation you’ve made… now I know where it comes from. 😁 But not because I’m erudite — it’s simply that I did my research.
Thank you so much!
I've already said I'm a pirate poet. 🤣
The authors of the lyrics are Saint Teresa, Lao Tzu, and Timothy Leary.
Abrazo!!
😂 But it’s interesting, and there you can add in the description that you used fragments of those texts to create the lyrics.
I should do it, but since today's been a game, I'll leave it here for now. I'll add the credits when I get back to the AI.
I don't know in which post you've seen that page... I don't know hahahaha
Figured you'd like it, after my horror version hahahaha
Look, everything will depend on the use that is given to things, I think that every tool can be useful, as you say to translate we use AI and we don't even realise it. Phones now work with AI, we don't escape it, but I think that as long as the lyrics are yours ... you just give it a voice, instead of singing yourself, as if they were using an interpreter. The bad thing is the abuse of AI, I don't like it at all, because the human is real, the rest is something without emotions, but it can be a tool but as long as it's not used inappropriately... it's risky, but the Youtube channel .... well!!!! hahaha
I love all three versions, but the last one excites me too much!!!!😍
Hi, 😄
Let’s see how all this turns out… haha… yes, it should be used responsibly. But don’t you see how irresponsible people are in the world? And it’s awful that so many of these things succeed over genuine talent.
Ay, Avecilla, I confess to you that yesterday I cried listening to the one you liked… well, nothing, just my own things…
Thank you!
https://peakd.com/hive-196487/@avdesing/gaiqzktg
Villancico terrorífico!!
Aquí son la 1.... muero!! Buenas noches!🤗
😂
¡Qué distraída soy!
Sí, ya es tarde. Descansa. Un abrazo. Vuelvo a escuchar... 🤗
🤗😴
Qué ilusión me dio.
Oh wow! I do have a Suno account, but I’ve never actually made anything with it yet! Your post is making me super tempted to try now though~😄
Yeah, I know there’s a part of Hive that’s not very AI-friendly… and I understand the reasons behind it. Still, seeing my husband pour days into creating music and videos with AI, I can’t help but think it’s opening up a whole new way to be creative.
😁
Well then, have fun! Thanks @go-kyo!
