Sony had extended this capability with an application that was meant for their mobile device that included the ability to use a controller as well. Sony has now deployed the application for both Android and iOS which allows us to Remote Play from out devices while mobile. It also added additional capabilities like using the messaging system and other Playstation Network features. While many previous Playstation related applications have had their challenges, I tried this one and was very happy with its performance. However, I have yet to test it from farther distances and not being on the same network.
The ability to Remote Play on our devices provide great flexibility for not only playing but also keeping consoles and games updated as well as even shopping on the console. You can use the devices screen as a controller or connect a PS4 controller via Bluetooth which are great options. While it seems that the internet connection between the devices is important, it demonstrates how gaming technology continues to evolve and develop. I look forward to seeing what additional uses can come of this in the future.

Nice device. Hope it actually delivers on it's promise.
Downside for guys here would be the internet connection needs. Would rather save my data for other useful ventures.

Yeah my brother uses this quite a lot when we play overwatch and it seems to work rather well for him.
Nice! Can’t imagine how it would work in any PvP game given the lag.
