UNDERSTANDING SATANIC EXITS.

No matter the level of setback the devil suffers in any encounter with you; when he leaves, one thing you can be very sure of is that he will always try to show up. With the awful setback the devil suffered from his encounter with Jesus in the wilderness, he left just for a season. He left to return at a later time. There are some who upon the slightest relief they get in their situations; burst into celebration, rejoicing over the exit of the enemy and they find it so easy to throw away their guards. No! Your adversary is a diehard enemy, even when he knows he’s going to lose, he will always seek to try. He hovers around, waiting for your unguarded hour. Satanic exits are hardly final; he will always seek to return. If Jesus had it that way, you shouldn’t seek otherwise.

We understand from God’s Holy Word that, “when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return to my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first”. Luke 11:24-26. Spiritual alertness remains the antidote against any move by the devil to return.

Having done all, you are to stand armed and guarded. Don’t throw away your guards; don’t fall back into the valley of complacency. You need to stay armed, ready to fire back at the slightest reappearance of the enemy. “When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace”. Luke 11:21. The truth of the matter is that you have won; but you need to stay armed to keep winning. There are people who are ready to undergo any form of spiritual exercise when they are confronted with any kind of challenge. Immediately they are able to get over it, they go on “holiday” from such exercises. What a cheap way to have the devil override you! Stay alert spiritually, physically, emotionally and on all sides and let that devil know that he has lost you forever.
