Experimenting with a few brushes here. Playing with Size, Flow and Blending %
It’s almost looking like an oil pastel drawing now.
I always imagined that the large rock at the end of our beach was a Pirate ship... the cedar trees were it’s sails. It looks that way in this painting.
These are my Steps.

Thank you very much. So many options and adjustments with these brushes. I’m going to have to paint 100 paintings a day to learn how they all work.
Oh yes. I am using autodesk sketchbook application and yes, you need to try a lot of options. the application for this phone. which is quite simple. it's still complicated. it should probably be more comprehensive than you are using.
I really like the colours. It does look so "pastelish", in a good way😊

Every evening has a different palette of colours up on the Lake.
I always think "my sky is pink", your drawing took me into that world of imagination where I can see my pink sky...

Thank you. Yes the sky colours are amazing over Lake Superior. You should see the Green Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis in August. This is from the Killarney Mountain Lodge on Lake Huron...

Did you use a limited color palette or it was free choice al well? Nicely done.
It was the ADSK Sketchbook colour wheel.... I used my eye to select the colours. No eye dropper. I made some terrible selections for colours and had to add layers to correct. My final version is pretty far off from the original.

this looks amazing.... i don't think you made terrible choices with colors... the colors are amazing... it could use a little more detailing but when zoomed out as a thumbnail it looks so real.....
