Thanks be to God for the privilege given to me to be part of this study. Today we were taught that Jesus is the only teacher. God gave the apostles the guild to listen to our lord Jesus Christ. According to the book of Mark, men are now leaving the commandment of God only to hold on the traditions of men. Jesus gave his apostles instructions before ascending to heaven. He said, go to the world and preach the gospel. Whosoever believe should be baptized.
I also learnt that the first doctrine is the baptism. This is one of the commandment of Jesus. All his commandment were written by his apostles. One of the proof that baptism is the first doctrine is the case of Paul. Paul was in the Jewish religion. He was called by the lord Jesus. After that, he was told to arise and be baptized in the name of Jesus. This was to wash away his sins and become a member of the church of God.
Some anti Christ are saying that going to church is not important, that what is important is accepting the lord Jesus. I was taught that you cannot claim to must have accepted Jesus when you don't keep his commandment. If the church is not important, why did Christ build the church. The church was built that men should join. The book of Colossians said that Christ is the head of the body and The body is the church of God. We Gentiles are also fellow heirs of the same body. Joining the church of God is the will of God. If you say that you have received Christ and reject his church, then it is as the same as rejecting Christ. The bible says that we should avoid what is evil and join that which is good. Christ is the head of the church. So joining the church of God is joining that which is good.
Today, it is very clear that the church of God is that which is in the bible. The bible mentioned it in many verses. That is also the church which was purchased by the blood of Jesus. Christ love the church. For Christ, the church is till eternity. I was taught that the church will fulfill an eternal purpose. Through the church, the wisdom of God will be made known. Let's compare what the anti Christ are saying with that of the bible. Saying that the era of the church is over, this is a complete lie. The bible say that the church is for eternal purpose. Let's therefore accept the church of God which is in the bible. I also understand that the bible called it church and not assembling, ministry, fellowship and so on. This is why the bible say s, I will build my church and the gate of hell will not prevail. Jesus built a church and devouted his own life for the church. This shows that the church is very important.
Today I learnt that Jesus is the only master. The first doctrine is the baptism. Attending church is very important because it is God's commandment. Let's not be deceived.
