Deadly virus, dystopia with lockdowns and "antibodies" (executioners) terminating (a)symptomatic carriers even on suspicion of infection. Everybody is taking weekly(!) vaccinations and hoarding vaccines to avoid anxiety of missing jabs. UN passing resolution to terminate Japan (due to infection or inefficient anti-virus measures).
Protagonist starts weak, with a lot of convincing done to him so he would just use the super power that he obtained accidentally and that he does not deserve. Some time later show pulls trick of swapping protagonist and antagonist. Supporting character have negative character growth, becoming increasingly shallow and single-dimensional. Conclusion is not satisfying.
The trope of this show is trans-humanism and de-humanisation. At some point people are used as tools in a literal sense (or even as holsters for tools) only to be disposed as soon as they are spent.
The show gets worse as it goes, and makes less sense as it goes.
Below average.
Nice: ending credits are slightly different in every episode.
