"After the great scandal that occurred on the part of this Serpentine Mystic, the villagers decided to send her or house her in a distant village, where her task would be to provide magical services and spells to those who lived there. Serpentine Mystic did not like the idea, but after what happened, it was take that or be taken to the international magical prison, so she had no choice. After her arrival in this new village, hundreds of villagers were flattered by her arrival, bringing the Serpentine gifts and offerings of welcome. The village had been without wizards or wizards for many years, so to have one in town again was very gratifying. They never judged Serpentine Mystic's past deeds and welcomed her warmly, which made her feel very much at home there. Let's hope Serpentine Mystic doesn't do another act of magical corruption and get away with it like she did in her beloved Burning Lands."

"Luego del gran escándalo que hubo por parte de está Serpentine Mystic, los pobladores decidieron mandarla o alojarla en un poblado distante, dónde su tarea sería prestar servicios mágicos y hechizos a los que ahí habitaban. La Serpentine Mystic no le agradaba la idea, pero después de lo ocurrido, era tomar eso o ser llevada a la cárcel mágica internacional, así que no tuvo opción. Después de su llegada a este nuevo poblado, cientos de pobladores se sintieron halagados por su llegada, trayendo a la Serpentine regalos y ofrendas de bienvenida. El poblado había estado sin hechiceros o magos por muchos años, así que tener uno en el pueblo de nuevo era muy gratificante. Nunca juzgaron los actos pasados de Serpentine Mystic y la recibieron con cariño, lo cual hizo que dicho personaje se sintiera muy bien en aquél lugar. Esperemos que Serpentine Mystic no haga otro acto de corrupción mágica y se salga con la suya como lo hizo en su querida Burning Lands."

I really enjoyed making this character. The sketch and the color work I loved, with this drawing I wanted to try a few different things and the final result was something I love too much.

Cómo disfruté hacer este personaje la verdad. El boceto y el trabajo de color me encantaron, con este dibujo quise probar unas cosas diferentes y el resultado final fue algo que amo demasiado.

I knew there was a snake card, well there are several snake cards, but I did remember that there was a specific one and I wanted to draw it, so I gave myself the task of going to look for it.

Sabía que había una carta de serpiente, bueno hay varias cartas de serpientes, pero si recordaba que había una en específico y la quería dibujar, así que me di la tarea de ir a buscarla.

It was indeed the card I had in mind and after I found it, I went straight to sketching, and then focused on what would be my version of this character.

Efectivamente era la carta que tenía en mente y luego de haberla encontrado, me fui directamente a hacer el boceto, para luego centrarme en lo que sería mi versión de éste personaje.

I knew very well how I wanted to do it, so I did the sketch very quickly and without any problem. I just had to look carefully at the elements that the original character had, to add them to my version.

Sabía muy bien como quería hacerla, así que el boceto lo hice muy rápido y sin problema alguno. Solo tuve que fijarme y observar detenidamente los elementos que tenía el personaje original, para agregarlos a mi versión.

Once I had the sketch finished, I immediately went to work the color on it. Without telling lies, it was what I enjoyed the most. And once I did all the color work, the last thing I had to do was the final details on the drawing.

Una vez que tuve el boceto terminado, me fui de inmediato a trabajar el color en el mismo. Sin decir mentiras, fue lo que más disfrute. Y una vez hice todo el trabajo de color, lo último que tuve que hacer fueron los detalles finales en el dibujo.
