I know this phrase is not new to many of us that are conversant with the scripture, this if am not getting things wrong happens to be the first positive words ever used after the creation of heaven and earth according to the scripture. This show the power embedded in our tougue.
After God created heaven and earth, the scripture made us understand that there was a total darkness, one thing I want us to note here is that our world would have remain in total darkness if God failed to be positive about shinning the light. The same thing is applicable to many people today in our environment, they have failed yo realize that they have the power to become whatever they want to become in life.
Like I told a friend yesterday in a conversation that I stopped blaming people for my inadequacy longtime ago since I realized that I have the ability to make impossible possible. We are all created to make things happen because we are created in the image of God.
I am not a pastor though but I don't know why I am charging us with this positive phrase, this happens to be the first thing that comes to my mind when I woke up this morning. We need to speak positively to out life and stop using negative words. I was read in a book that the person who say "he can" and someone who says "he can't" are both right.

I want us to integrate this into out life and tell that problem to disappear, you will be surprise to see how the light will shine. Another thing I want to understand in this phrase is the commanding tone. We must always be ready to command things to happen and this also has to the with our faith because according to the scripture, faith is the assurance of what we did not see but we what we are expecting.
Why don't you shine the light today by commanding that darkness in your life to go and have a strong faith that it will happen. Many people still don't know the power in their tongue and that is why they have not be using it in a better way. We need to be positive always and that is the only way we can shine the light and tell that darkness to vanish.
Note: The darkness I am talking about here could mean any challenges we are passing through in life.
