Oh, I love the idea of growing grapes in your garden!! In my region, there’s a lot of wine production, but the vines are grown in huge fields and don’t reach that height. The photos of the bunches look lovely, and it’s lovely to see the grapes growing – that takes a lot of patience!
I don’t know how difficult or easy they are to grow, but the most common varieties are red and white Grenache, Tempranillo and Macabeo. However, the ones I like best—and which are grown on a small scale—are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. When it comes to wine, I only know whether I like it or not, haha.
I hoipe you enjoy a good harvest!!

Wow thank you @ palomap3 🩷 Yes some of our friends from other countries also mentioned that to us, that grapevines in their region are kept low in height to easily manage the plants. But here, I don’t know how to keep them low in height, they keep on growing upward. We already tried other varieties like White Malaga, Narc Black and Moondrops but they did not grow well here. It’s my dream to have Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot too but I know it will remain just a dream (haha) because maybe the weather or season here is not suitable for them.
Each variety has its characteristics and needs, it is better that you dedicate yourself to those that adapt well to your climate. Here it is rather dry and extreme, with very cold in winter and very hot in summer.
