Now what on earth do you think will happen here?
Little Robbie the Robin appeared right below me and something had taken his attention. But what could it be, as there are no worms in the paving, He obviously spotted something and I watched him.
In my previous post Here I showed you how not to work and now nature will show you how to work.
Oh Look! A spider appeared and would he perhaps be poisonous?
The spider crawled out onto the paving.
I was busy on a ladder and working on the gutter when I filmed this story.
Now look what happens next.
Little Robbie is a sharp character and he didn't pick the spider up to kiss him. One bite here.
And a second bite here as the spider was still moving, but note that Robbie's beak was perfectly placed to kill the spider.
And then, mysteriously the spider flew away.
Only joking as the spider flew straight into Robbie's stomach.
Robbie and Ruby are two Cape Robin-chats (Cossypha caffra) that live here in our garden and they have become so used to us that they call Marian when they want dried worms.
So yes, Robbie did the job excellently here and there will be no comebacks. We have learned in the trade that if you don't do a job properly, then don't do it at all, as comebacks destroy the profits and a concern is the client losses.
Nature shows us the perfect ways to work.

That's a cute and sharp little fellow! The coloring is quite different then the robins we have here in Canada.
I had forgotten for a bit that you have winter there when I saw you wearing your hat with ear muffs and we're sitting here sweltering in shorts and tank tops.

Wow, I saw that there is a heatwave that shattered all records in Canada my friend. Especially in British Columbia.
Are you guys safe there in your area, as they were talking about hundreds killed and even towns burning down?
Please take care as forest fires love the heat and a strong wind.
One thing about living right in the forest is we don't feel the heat the same with all the trees around our place. Our house has lots of vines covering it for extra shade. I am a bit concerned about forest fires for the forest is getting tinder dry and there is talk of thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. This will break the heat but would be much better if we could have the rain without lightning strikes. We do have an evacuation plan if a fire starts in our area for forest fires are our greatest threat!
Oh yes, that is exactly why I thought of you guys witlh all of the fires over there. As I said they are claiming that many records have been broken by the current heatwave and it's always bad news for forests. The problem is that that a fire doesn't just burn in one place, as the wind carries the sparks for a mile and then other fires are started.
So yes, just continue keeping an eye out there my friend.
As I said yesterday, it's not only the photos I love to look at, it's also the stories you're telling which I love to read, and so I loved this one to see and to read ... and also to see the smiling ghost, called Zac, working on the ladder 😊

I have just come home before from a little trip to Slovenia. Now I'm doing some Hive and photo work, but later I want to go for a ride, because tomorrow it's raining, says the weatherman - we'll see.

Yeah Hannes, you told me about the forest and the waterfalls and I presume Slovenia is the place where you got the photos?
Ha, we also still have rain today (Sunday) and I hope that you enjoyed that later ride.

Yep, that's right, and if I get home early enough tomorrow I'll edit a few photos for my the post I want to make for the Silver Bloggers contest.
I haven't had a look at my posts, but as said in another reply, I haven't got a single curation reward since a day. I have read several posts about curating after the hard fork, but that I get nothing is really weird.

I had a quick look at your Silver Ghost post and will visit it after I have done all of the replies.
Yes, I was told that this is the first time for this to happen after a HardFork. All of the curation is sent to Hive, unless we go and vote on the 7th day posts om the Blockchain, to at least get some curation back after the 7 days. It will end tomorrow and then the curations will return to normal payouts.
