This past week has been relatively quiet and I've been able to got some of the "some day when I have time..." checklist of items that have been hanging around for months and in some cases years.
I updated my website, created a new division of business and built that website and flyer, I worked on a client's website. Finally got around to working on some social media clips that was a "when you have time" request from the social media team. Little pesky things and some not so pesky things. It's all a work in progress, but I can safely say I am pretty darn happy with the pace and sense of accomplishment I have at the end of each day. Even is all of the days have ended in the wee hours of the morning...like now. I'm having fun and that makes it all the better.
Finally clearing those “someday” tasks must feel satisfying... especially when you’re enjoying the work too 😄💪
Yes! I didn't realize what a mental load I was carrying around. To me, these were items that stayed on the to-do list for months or some were even just in my head. What I realize now is how light and free I feel because they are completed. This is a good lesson to me that carrying a mental load of tasks should be avoided as much as possible. Something for me to work on going forward.

Yes, and enjoying the pace of it all. I enjoy the work I do, but during the times when so much is happening at once, I don't get the time to appreciate it all.
Right now I'm able be productive in a way that allows for rest and reflection. It's been really nice.
I had a meeting today and it signals the start of a new podcast season which is exciting and also makes this quiet time something I am especially appreciative of.
