Instead of writing a usual 2-in-2 post, where I would blog about one topic and in the second part share the report about our Workerbee mining pool, I will try to stick to the topic in this one... π Let's talk about the latest events around our tokens of interest, BEE and WORKERBEE...

First of all, I have to mention the Hive Engine EVM tokens bridge hack, and unfortunately, I'm not aware of any news regarding funds recovery for those affected... π This wasn't the fault of any H-E witness node operator, but rather a hack of centralized bridge wallets... Not everyone accepted this event in the same manner, and you have maybe noticed some token price movements...
The token that we mine, the BEE token, was actually very resilient to these turbulences... As it is pooled with many different tokens, that makes it more "stable" than any other H-E token... If you compare it with HIVE, you will notice that many times when HIVE goes down, the BEE token is more valuable (in HIVE)... But also, it works in the other way around... When HIVE pumps, the BEE token is getting hit, and slowly catches up... So, all in all, with all the market mess, the BEE token did relatively well...
On the other side, we have WORKERBEE token, the one that we stake, delegate, and use as a "miner token"... As it's a governance token for Hive-Engine, used for supporting H-E witnesses, you could notice a "small" dump in the price recently... As most tokens are staked or pooled, there is low liquidity on the markets, which makes it more volatile... If you add on top of that one whale unstaking and selling the tokens, you get this...

... a very thin orderbook with a very low demand on the BUY side... That could be a bad sign as it shows (non-existing) interest in the token, but on the other side, it could mean an opportunity for those who want to accumulate more of these...
Just one more thing... A whale unstaking tokens means a bigger cut for us (this pool), as our percentage in staked tokens grew! This could be a reason for a bit higher rewards in the last week and this week!
Let's see the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week... Last week, we made a new record, so it was expected to perform a bit weaker this week...
This week, we have mined 139 BEE tokens in total, only 9 tokens fewer than the week before!!
This week, we didn't get new delegators... As usual, we got additional delegations from old members! Thanks for your continuous support, guys and girls! I really appreciate it!
This pool doesn't charge fees, and you can earn up to 20% more by delegating to it!
What about the bonus tokens?
This week, I will distribute LEO tokens to the delegators of the pool... Unfortunately, with the bad state of crypto markets, it looks like LEO also got hit hard... When I checked the last time I distributed it as a reward, I gave away half of the amount I will give away today! That means that it lost around 50% of its value in around 1 month! π±
There will be distributed 82 LEO tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!
82 LEO tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 10.473%, and when we added the bonus, it went up to 12.689%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens when creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price... Currently, the BUY side of the WORKERBEE tokens is very thin, and it's hard to calculate the middle price.
