Restoring the Spark.

To avoid a fatal fight, I lured Infected away from a tight room and escaped through a vent. I manually pulled a cable from a generator room to the top of a tower while being chased. After restoring power and earning the sheriff's trust, a bitten ranger committed suicide.

I had to go out as it would be a fatal decision to fight the infected inside that tight room where I was cornered. And the first thing I did was taking down another infected outside who was blocking my path.

I didn't want to fight the remaining infected as I didn't have enough weapons to waste on them. So I lured them to another side of the roof to slow them down and escape by using a quick distraction.

Then I jumped off from another side where the infected couldn't see me and I went inside this generator room after picking a lock. I found the generator and switched the power on, but it looked like the cables were shredded, by some monsters probably.

So I had to restore the power manually by taking a cable out from the circuit board to all the way towards that tower. The cable was heavy and slowed my movement, making me feel exposed as I crossed the open ground toward the structure's base.

After pulling the cable out of the circuit board, I noticed there was a small vent hole that I used to get out of that room. I squeezed through the tight space, hoping the noise wouldn't attract any infected.

Right after getting outside, I noticed some infected were climbing up the tower real fast to get to the sheriff at the top. I knew I had to be faster if I wanted to save her.

I also started climbing up, taking the cable with me and I reached the infected climbing up earlier were shot down. Their bodies were scattered across the platforms, evidence of the sheriff's accurate aim during the chaotic struggle below.

At last, I reached the top of the tower and I turned the power on by connecting the cable to the circuit there. The machinery hummed to life, and the lights flickered on, signaling a successful restoration.

After doing this task, Kyle was brought into the group as the sheriff would at last trust him to be a good hand. It was the first step toward building a real alliance.

That ranger who was injured on top of that tower came back, who got bitten by an infected. Realizing his fate, he shot himself dead before the fever could take him. Everyone stood in silence, mourning another loss in this endless war.

The sheriff asked his peoples to give the body a proper burial, then this old man said I didn't kill the beast, I killed a different monster. He asked me to meet him when I was ready.

I'll show what happens next later.

I personally took all the screenshots from my play and I used a logo of the game from online to use in the thumbnail.

This is Pikachuuuuu signing off. Over and out.

Your gameplay focused more on survival and decision making instead of nonstop combat. That is a clever way to handle the situation. Escaping the tight room by distracting the infected felt realistic. Good game.

It is a shame about the ranger, but it is a grim reminder of how high the stakes are. At least he chose his own way out before turning.

Finally, the sheriff trusted Kyle because he proved himself through actions instead of words. Restoring the tower's power while risking his life proved that he was willing to help people even in impossible situations.
