I decided to take on a challenge
and see how one could create an image of a deer using artificial intelligence. However, I added a twist when I started generating the deer image based on a stain that accidentally appeared on my kitchen counter after spilled soup. It seemed to me that the shape of the stain resembled the head of a deer, so I thought, why not? Additionally, I wanted to get some practice using the new tool that is AI to get better acquainted with it. Here you can see the result of this experiment. Of course, there were some odd occurrences along the way, but overall, it seems that you can control quite precisely what you want to achieve.
In theory, generating one image using this artificial intelligence takes a few seconds, and it usually doesn't exactly match the intended effect from the start. Getting to the point where you finally manage to generate something that resembles the planned image by at least 70% is probably a good result and achievement.
And that takes time. Generating this YT video took me at least 5 hours from start to this post, so... Quite a lot, I'd say. But at least I've learned sth along the journey :)
I believe that working with artificial intelligence is just another tool in the graphic designer's arsenal, significantly speeding up and facilitating conceptual work.
