Hello, dear Hivers.😃 How are you today ?
I hope you will always be healthy and happy.
The southern region of Thailand has already entered the summer season. I have been feeling the intense heat over the past few days, especially in the afternoons.
The cold season here was incredibly short. It's the season I love the most, but I only got to experience the cold for a few days. Thailand has three seasons, but the southern region seems to have only the rainy season and the summer season.
The long summer season lasts for several months. However, the summer season also has its advantages:
During this summer, everyone will receive more vitamin D from the sunlight. Vitamin D is beneficial to the body in many ways. It helps absorb calcium, which is essential for bones, strengthens bones, and prevents osteoporosis. Additionally, it helps control blood pressure and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
At my home
Today, in the morning, I have quite a bit of free time because it’s a holiday. But I woke up at the usual hour, as my biological clock nudged me awake. The gentle morning sunlight made me want to stroll around the house. I walked among the trees, watering them to keep them fresh, as the afternoon sun would be scorching. If I didn’t water them early, they’d wilt. I remembered, I needed to collect flowers and leaves for my son’s art work . I gathered papaya leaves, roses, and adenium, arranging them on the table for him. After that, I did housework and cooked meals for the kids and my husband.
In the afternoon, around 3 pm, I drove to the shopping mall. When I arrived, the first I was to find a parking spot. The parking located in front of the mall, still had some spaces available. This carpark was convenient because it had a roof.

I must remember where I parked the car because I’ve forgotten before and ended up wandering around looking for my own car. Ugh… I’m 44 years old, not even that old yet and I’m already starting to forget things, haha!
The shopping mall was more crowded than usual, probably because it's a holiday and many people left their homes to come shop and stroll around. I noticed that the mall had rearranged the product display, especially in the milk section and other areas. The new layout was neat and visually appealing, effectively attracting customers' attention. I stopped to greet my friend , whom I usually meet every time we pick up our kids from school. Today, she came to buy some ingredients.
I walked around looking at the products and bought a few things for cooking. The food items were priced reasonably, and I stored some portions in the fridge for later meals. Here, there’s a wide variety of products to choose from. They sell items at single-unit prices and bundled packs, which are cheaper. Some local village shops even purchase products from here to resell at their own stores. It seems like this is the largest shopping mall in the District.
I paid for the product Then put it in the cart and take it to the car. I arrived home around 5 pm. It was time to prepare dinner and this was my beautiful sunday.

The summer heat can really make our plants wilt easily. I like the idea of using flowers and leaves for art work. I think it is very creative and resourceful. It would be lovely to see your son's art work using the natural resources in your garden. It seems that your day went by pleasantly.
