At first I was thinking "no, that's not a main function of tails," but then I watched it & went "oh...that's the main function of tail." Just the way it's flicked back & forth, controlled so precisely to aid in those turns on a dime... Pretty Wondrous..
That's the best way to beat enemy. They're fast, but their stamina is shit. They heat up so much that too much running can cook their heart/brain. They can run for about 17 seconds.
I think that there are cars that have mechanisms in them to balance them on corners like that.
This is the best part. The cheetahs head moves at practically the same time as the prey changes direction. Unreal how fast that reaction time is.
