Introducing the one of the latest EV's from China to launch here in the UK - the EX5 from Geely.
Now, you may not have heard of Geely but I'm sure you would have heard of one or more of the many automotive brands that they own - namely Volvo and Lotus. So it's safe to say that they know a thing or two about cars.
As quite a few Chinese car manufacturers are doing well in the UK, it makes sense that more will follow, and so, we have the Geely EX5.
One of the first things that stands out is how spacious it is - it really needs to be seen to be believed. It's also choc full of features that you just don't expect for the cost - 360 degree camera, anyone?
So what do I mean by that? Well with 3 trims to choose from, the EX5 starts at under £32,000 on the road. And when you consider it comes with a heat pump, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and more as standard, you will get the picture that you get a heck of a lot of car for the money.

I'm not sure about the light interior, but it looks good otherwise. I think more people are looking at EVs recently. I saw someone say that you can now "charge when you stop rather than stopping to charge" as the range is generally decent. I've had some EV people popping up on my FB lately.
We did have a ride in a friend's Tesla last weekend. That is really overloaded with gadgets and seriously quick.
Seriously quick it is, @steevc I think some of the older Tesla's had Ludicrous Mode - 0-60mph in 2.3 seconds...
