Cigarettes are bad for the health of people, and also bad for the environment.
Some people are still smoking even in places, where it is forbidden by the law (or at least in my country) (Hungary), for example in/around bus stops, and in/around other public places.
I support the local ban both on the sales and on the use of tobacco products.

I think prohibition only increases crime, maffia, see alcohol in the 1920s in US.
