but how do the photons know that we would see them if they haven't left the sun yet and took that 8 minute journey to earth? It's more than mind blowing, I feel sick haha

But with calculations, the speed of light and distance from the Sun means sunlight effectively takes just over 8 minutes??? I'm so confused by what I just read lol! My head just exploded!
