Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a day of gratitude and I counted my blessings as I continue to take one day at a timeπ―. It also happened to be my birthday, another year older is a blessing. Hopefully your day has been great too.
Definitely thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day went including the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Here we go again, come on π¨.
So I began my day with a walk around the neighborhood. A beautiful morning with some good sunshine π was what I encountered as I made my way.
Then I was back indoors handling the usual chores around the house including laundry.
Then I had the cooking going before settling down to some you tube videos and also watching the trending news.
The sunset π walk was around Chelsea stadium area at Stamford bridge. This season Liverpool have won the premier league, lifting the cup today. Chelsea is fourth behind Man City. Well doneππ―, not everyone can be number 1.
Then later this evening I had a birthday dinner with a few friends. I guess it's happy birthday to meππ.
So that was my day and now let's look at what has been happening around the world.
In Gaza, the horror scenes continued as Israeli airstrikes killed more than 30 people across the stripπΏ.
Some good news as the first trucks with aid entered northern Gaza.
Scenes of desperation as crowds rushed and scrambled for the aid, jumping on top of trucks and picking what they couldπΏ.
Also trending, foreign ministers of EU and Arab states are meeting in Madrid Spain to demand Israel end its war and lift blockade on Gaza. An immediate ceasefire and a push for a two state solution.
In Israel, sirens went off as the defence system intercepted a Houthi missile, some flights from and to the airport cancelled or rescheduledπ.
Speaking of missiles, Russia launched a record 350 misslies and drones targeting Kyiv and other citiesπ.
Damage on buildings as 12 people reportedly killed in the strikesπΏ. Meanwhile Russia say they intercepted close to 100 Ukrainian missiles.
Both countries continued to exchange prisoners of war, close to 2000 in the last three daysπ―.
Across the pond, Venezuela trending as legislative elections kicked off. The opposition have called for a nationwide boycott claiming riggingπ.Very true can't trust Maduro ever.
No far off, Ecuador trending as its youngest president Daniel Noboa was sworn in for a second term. Congratulations to him. Well done and best of luckππ.

All quiet on a Sunday at the Chelsea home ground.
Wonder if the green and brown coloured bins have different purposes.
Oh yes, all quiet at Chelsea as the premier league season came to an end.
The green and brown bins are for different types of refuse, probably green for biodegradable and brown for recyclable rubbish.
