Hello and welcome back to my blog!

Last time I showcased some of my shots from theHunter: Call of the Wild, it was showing the beauty of the Cuatro Colinas map, but this time I will present a more visually stunning map from the game. This one came out last year and is one of my favourite reserves because of how close to home it feels.

I am talking about the Sundarpatan Hunting Reserve. This one is based on the beautiful Himalayan mountain ranges of Nepal, and these biomes are so close to being Uttarakhand, which is my neighbouring state, that it feels like home.

Trekking on those mountain ridges, on narrow trails, reminds me of my little treks in these regions. The views are not far from what you see in the game. They nailed the whole vibe of the place.

There are multiple temples and Stupas all over the map, highlighting the presence of Hinduism and Buddhism, which is quite accurately represented in this map.

There are at least three different biomes in here; you can easily guess that the Himal (upper mountains) is my favourite among them. That's how you get beautiful views of the snow-clad mountains.

The outposts here are designed based on little villages you find scattered in these types of regions, which serve as resting and refreshment areas for hikers and hunters alike.

You can see that many of them are guest houses or homestays for tourists.

I love how you can enter these buildings and find a lot of cool items that you will usually find in such homes. The developers didn't just build an outer wall, but fully furnished the houses based on the real ones.

In the lower regions, on the plains, you will find bigger villages with fields growing mustard, maize, etc. These mustard fields look so good when they get their yellow flowers. I have spent all my childhood playing in such fields.

You will find a lot of little lakes that adorn this reserve and make it memorable. These are good hotspots for animals like water buffalo, which are one of the most aggressive animals here. You can see me going close to them while in a prone position and stalking my prey.

Even after the shots were fired, one of them got mad at me and started charging towards me. They can kill a human quickly with a strong headbutt. I had to take care of it quickly, otherwise the hunter would be hunted there. xd

Another thing I absolutely love about this reserve is the flowers. You will find Rhododendron flowers blossoming all over the place. Those trees are full of it.

Then the grasslands have sprinkles of flowers all over the places. It is so nice to see them while you are going through these areas.

I hope I was able to showcase the beauty of this incredible place on earth, even with the help of a video game map. These Himalayan regions are even more beautiful than they seem in this game. Let me know if you like my shots and which one is your favourite among them.
