Today started great but it's starting to look like the rest of the evening is going to be a rough one.
So I had woken up pretty late this morning because for some reason someone decided it was a good idea to celebrate his birthday till daybreak, so I couldn't sleep even when I tried forcing myself to because the music and the noise was too much. So I ended being awake all through the night and also started sleeping this morning.
When I eventually got up from bed, I decided it was finally time for me to take that much needed walk to clear my head because lately, I've been feeling lost and don't even know where or how to go about solving whatever it is bothering me.
So I had taken the walk and I'm grateful I did because I had enough time to think and just clear my head before heading back home. After I got home, I decided to turn on my generator so that I could continue the sleep from where I had left off but to my surprise, the generator refused to turn on.
It turned out I was out of oil and had to go buy a new one, only for me to come back, pour in the oil and it still refused to turn on. Now I'm getting frustrated, so I take the generator outside, put it on a motorcycle and drove down to my mechanic's shop because if I don't fix it today, I won't be able to fix it until Monday as he doesn't open his shop on Sundays.
Well I got to his shop only to realize that he wasn't in. His shop was open but he was no where to be found which is very typical of him because he never stays one place, the man is always up and running everytime.
Now I'm seated at his shop, waiting for him for the past hour with no signs of him coming anytime soon. And of course I tried calling his phone but that wasn't connecting either which really isn't a surprise to me because now I know that this isn't ordinary, it's just my village people trying to frustrate me all over again because they're upset about the good work going for a walk did for me.
But as usual, I will be fine. I will beat this and still come out victorious, with a huge smile on my face because over here, we don't give up.
Positive energy bro, that's something great to keep on, it's never a nice thing to give up.
You just have to wait for him, he will come back.
I understand the feelings when we want to used our generator but it refused to on.
Funny enough, I ended up fixing it myself after waiting too long for him.
