Fun around the bonfire

Hi everyone
My greetings to you all
Hope you are doing well

Last evening, as we went out for evening walk, weather was so chilled. As we returned after almost an hour, we were feeling too cold. Thanks to my friend who is my neighbour too, she gave the idea of bonfire. They live at the ground floor and they had a little stock of some dry woods too. 😄 So we lit the fire and all of us sat around the fire gossiping and enjoying the warmth of the fire. Then she brought handfuls of Peanuts and we all shared between us. Dakshu is too small to break the outer cover and take out the kernel inside. So I was doing it for her. It's really feel very good sitting around the fire and having something to eat and drink. Later we had some hot tea. It was a very pleasant evening. Though we got too late for dinner, as kept sitting there by 9 o'clock but it was all fun. We enjoyed a lot the fire and the friends. It's really enjoying. In my village we used to do it a lot but now I seldom get the chance of sitting besides a fire. Now room heaters had taken away the place of bonfire. There is nothing bad with room heaters, except that they are dull and boring. While there is lot of fun in the groups around the fire. Tell me what do you think about it.

It must be very warm when we are near the bonfire pal @preets, if I were here I would be very happy, because this afternoon when I came home from fishing, I was hit by a very heavy rain which made me very cold
