Ain’t that the awful truth well theirs no incentive to comment and a massive incentive to just push out as much content as you can shit or not and grab them rewards! It’s a bit of a over incentive to just produce and not care if anyone reads it never mind engages with it
Well, as far as I have seen, now people are focusing on rewards plus due to the lockdown situation, everyone is trying to earn as much as possible. If I consider my case, I spend more time on curation for communities tbh, and many times it happened that I checked the contest but don't get that much energy to write meaningful feedback... My maximum work is behind the scene so it's tough for me to focus on everything as I produce contents and do works for communities too...
Well I think it should be a community driven thing like let’s say you in the leo community I’d they want more engagement they should encourage tipping with their token and so on! If one community becomes popular because of it the rest will follow and people won’t be so pressured to create content because they can engage and be rewarded!
Right now autovotes also encourage people to just make posts!
It’s for sure a lot of work but it’s not a one person thing we all need to do it! I always reply to all my comments and try to get people engaged it sometime works it sometimes doesn’t
I agree with your points because not everyone is working here for communities, some are part of communities but they just create several contents and never do engagement. On that note, they can involve and increase engagement with more people as well.
Indeed! It looks pretty sad when you see all these posts and no engagement! I think it’s also made people not care about it like I’ll comment on peoples posts and they won’t respond or give a short response like why should I upvote you then if you don’t care to engage?
