Probably not, the massive amount of GPUs you would need to have to do a 51% attack would for sure alert people to the fact that someone was mass buying GPUs to do that... which would probably prevent it... but who knows! Maybe a nation around the world will use a large quantum ultra-dimension alien computer to do it!

Maybe not on Bitcoin necessarily, but I can't help but imagine that sooner or later some blockchain will get affected by this. With Bitcoin being the biggest out there, they will most likely be the heaviest target.

Will no doubt be a crazy future for hackers ;-)
