In a distant time, in this very place where you are right now, an advanced civilization may have once lived. Maybe even a breakaway civilization, so advanced that they left our home planet one day.
They must have had monumental structures, at least in my imagination. Of course, also structures which could protect them from the savage hordes of the more primitive rest of humanity.
How I would imagine a view of such an ancient civilization, I have illustrated in "Wall of the Lost".
In einer fernen Zeit, genau an diesem Ort an dem du dich gerade befindest, könnte einst eine fortschrittliche Zivilisation gelebt haben. Vielleicht sogar eine Breakaway Zivilisation, so fortschrittlich, dass sie unseren Heimatplaneten eines Tages sogar verließ.
Sie müssen monumentale Bauwerke gehabt haben, zumindest in meiner Fantasie. Natürlich auch Bauwerke, welche Sie vor den wilden Horden des primitiveren Rests der Menschheit schützen konnten.
Wie ich mir einen Blick auf so eine antike Zivilisation vorstellen würde, habe ich in "Wall of the Lost" abgebildet.

How it was made | Wie es gemacht wurde.
I did it in Blender and GIMP, but in the end most of it was done in GIMP using concept art photo montage techniques. Cutting, overlaying, retexturing, the game of light and shadow, depicting the humidity, etc....
For the creation of the landscape I needed some parts from different photos, which I got completely from Pixabay(Public Domain).
With the exception of the defensive wall and the tower. Those I modelled myself in Blender and textured it in GIMP.
Ich hab es in Blender und in GIMP erstellt, aber letztendlich überwiegend in GIMP, unter Verwendung von Concept Art Fotomontage Techniken. Schneiden, überlagern, retexturieren, das Spiel mit Licht und Schatten, Luftfeuchtigkeit, etc...
Für die Erschaffung der Landschaft verwendete ich Teile unterschiedlicher Fotos, die ich gänzlich von Pixabay(Public Domain) bezog.
Abgesehen vom Turm und der Wehrmauer. Die habe ich selbst in Blender modelliert und in GIMP texturiert.
