Yesterday as I got to the train station, I spotted from the corner of my eyes a little patch of Snowbells in the lawn near where my mate parked his car. So today, I took my iPhone 8 Plus 7x macro lens with me and while waiting for the train to arrive I did a quick photo session with those beautiful flowers.
Leucojum aestivum is a perennial bulbous plant, generally 35–60 cm tall, but some forms reach 90 cm. Its leaves, which are well developed at the time of flowering, are strap-shaped, 5–20 mm wide, reaching to about the same height as the flowers. The flowering stem (scape) is hollow and has wings with translucent margins. The pendant flowers appear in late spring and are borne in umbels of usually three to five, sometimes as many as seven.

Well, it seems that these ones didn't know we are still in winter! hahaha. But our winters are rather mild so that's probably normal.
It wasn't easy to take the photos as the flowers were very close to the ground so I had to lie down to take the shots. After few shots of these two flowers, I spotted another cluster a few meters away.
That's when the train arrived and I rushed to the station. I put my lens in my pocket not realizing there was a hole in it. The lens drop to the ground, I picked it up and ran to the train only to noticed that I lost the lens cap and there is a little scratch on the 14x macro lens 😱. Luckily it seems that it does not have too much impact on the image quality and it is not a lens I use much. The set was made of a 7x, 14x and 21x lens. I used the 7x the most.

- To login for creating content and curating, use your Private Posting Key
- To make transfers and account operations, use your Private Active Key
- To encrypt and decrypt memos, use your Private Memo Key
