π¦ The European greenfinch or simply the greenfinch (Chloris chloris)

These are very strange birds to me. They're "unsociable," even though they live in city courtyards, in addition to the wild. You'd think birds that live in courtyards near people wouldn't be as shy as tits, nuthatches, and so on. But these birds are very afraid of people, at least in my city, so it's very difficult for me to photograph them.
Interestingly, these are some of the very first birds to arrive in the spring. They're wintering birds, but from my cold region, they prefer to fly west where it's warmer, and they arrive as soon as spring begins.
