I have seen ETH (ethereum) price almost 1200-1300 USD in the year 2017 and it has gone down less than 200 USD. Now it has gone up again and currently at 300+ price range.
Do you think it will touch $500 mark ?

In my opinion, I don't think so. Ethereum gas fees are astronomically high that it discourages people from using it.
