Jesus is the way, the truth and the life
Jesus said many things about who he was. He said that he is the son of God, that he and the Father are one, and that the Father is the one who sent him. In addition, he announced that he did not come to be served, but to serve and that he came to give his life by rescuing many. He also said that He was the Door of Heaven, and in John 14: 6, He expanded that quote: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, but is for me." This man is exactly who he says he is. He is the good Shepherd. He is the bread of life. Jesus is the way, the truth, and life itself. That means, that in order for us to have eternal life, we must receive Jesus Christ as our personal Savior.

Unfortunately many do not believe it. But we only have to look at the miracles of Jesus as proof that he was right in what he said he was. Jesus walked on the water, calmed a storm with an order, raised the dead, and rose from the dead. Jesus made extraordinary affirmations and performed extraordinary feats. Therefore, it is logical to conclude that what Jesus said was true.
The main reason we approach God through Jesus is that Jehovah gave his Son a very important role. The Father made him the central figure, the key element in the development of all his purposes. To understand the important role it performs, we must reflect on what happened in the Garden of Eden, where our first parents joined the rebellion of Satan against Jehovah.

How did Jehovah show that he trusted in his Son, and on what was such trust based?
Should we be surprised by Jehovah's choice? In the least! The Father had absolute confidence in his only begotten Son. Centuries before sending him to earth, Jehovah announced that his Son would remain faithful in the midst of sufferings of all kinds (Isaiah 53: 3-7). Let's think about the implications of this prophecy. Like all intelligent creatures, the Son was endowed with free will, that is, the ability to choose what he would do with his life; even so, Jehovah trusted him so much that he prophesied that he would be loyal to him. On what was such trust based? In knowledge, Jehovah knows him perfectly and knows how much he wants to please him. Furthermore, the Son loves the Father, and Jehovah feels the same for him; that mutual love forges between them an unbreakable bond of union and trust.
In view of the important role that the Son has, as well as the trust that his Father has placed in him and the love that unites them both, should we be surprised that it is only possible to approach the Father through Jesus? However, there is another reason why the Son is the only one who can lead us to the Father.

To get closer to Jehovah, we have to meet some conditions. And nobody knows better than the Son the divine norms that must be fulfilled to have the approval of God.
Jesus said: (Matthew 11:27) "All things have been given to me by my Father, no one has recognized the Son and the Father, nor does anyone fully know the Father and the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wants to reveal it." . Let us see why Jesus could affirm, with all right and without any exaggeration, that 'no one knows the Father fully but the Son'.
Since the Son is "the firstborn of all creation," he knows Jehovah more intimately than anyone else. Imagine the close relationship that was made between all during all the time that the solos alone, since Jesus the first creation was formed, until it was created in other spirits.
Let's think about the wonderful opportunity that the Son had when being together with his Father, learning what he thought about things, his will, his norms and his way of acting. Without a doubt, it is not an exaggeration to say that Jesus knows him better than anyone else. Thanks to this close relationship, Jesus was able to reveal in a unique way what his Father's personality was like. No other person could have done so

In what ways did Jesus reveal his Father.
The teachings of Jesus showed that he knew very well what Jehovah thinks, what he feels and what he expects from those who worship him. In addition, he revealed the Father in another very profound way. Jesus said: (John 14: 9) "He who has seen me has seen the Father also." In effect, he imitated it perfectly in everything he said and did. So when we read in the Bible details about Jesus, like the strength and enchantment of his words, the compassion that moved him to heal people and the empathy that led him to shed tears when he saw the suffering of others, we can imagine very well Jehovah doing the same.
The words and actions of the Son revealed to perfection the way of acting and the will of the Father. Therefore, if we want Jehovah's approval, we must obey the teachings of Jesus and follow his example (John 14:23).
Since Jesus knows Jehovah so deeply and imitates him perfectly, it is not surprising that Jehovah decided to use him as a means to reach him. Since we have already analyzed the basis for understanding why it is only possible to reach Jehovah through Jesus, let us now examine the meaning of these words of Christ: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me "(John 14: 6).
