STEEMCHURCH - The importance of children for God

Of children is the kingdom of God

"And they presented children for him to touch; and the disciples rebuked those who presented them. When Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me, and do not persecute yourselves; because of such is the kingdom of God. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child will not enter it. And taking them in their arms, laying their hands on them, he blessed them. "(Mark 10: 13-16)

Of children it is the kingdom of God since children are pure beings who have no sin because they have no discernment or knowledge about good or evil, just like Adam and Eve in paradise before their fall; which makes them have the free road to heaven.

This also means that they do not need repentance, therefore, they do not require baptism. In this regard many people wonder about the eternal destiny of children who die without the baptism that fosters Roman Catholicism or other churches or sects ... however, we must pay attention to what the Bible says, and is clear that " the soul that sins, that will die "(Ezekiel 18:20).

Therefore, if a child dies, his eternal destiny is heaven because of it is the kingdom of God. Baptism and repentance is for sinners, that is, adult people like us who can discern between good and evil.

Receiving and caring for a child is as if it were Jesus himself:

"And whoever receives a child like this in my name receives me." (Matthew 18: 5)

Not only should we be attentive to the pastor, bishop or other person "important" to us, but God gives us to understand that a child deserves the same reception as if it were himself.

Hard warning for those who trip one of these little ones who believe in Jesus:

"And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe in me to sin, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." (Matthew 18: 6)

Not to mention the fate of the characters who pretend to teach a child that his belief in God is equivalent to believing in "Santa Claus". Not to mention, the text is more than clear. If you who have come to read these lines do not believe in God, keep your faith for yourself if you want it, but leave a better child in peace.

Jesus commands not to despise children:

"See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you that his angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. "(Matthew 18:10)

How many times children are despised, porco taken care of, little listened to ... simply, not taken into account, not even by their own parents. However, a child has angels who see the face of God, something that none of us - no matter how spiritual - can boast.

Jesus said we have to be like children to enter his kingdom

"And he said: Truly I say to you, unless you turn and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18: 3)

If we do not turn and act like children - in their humility, faith and malice - we can not enter the kingdom of heaven, since these qualities of children are indispensable for the Christian life.

God hears the praise of children

"But the chief priests and the scribes, seeing the wonders he did, and the boys acclaiming in the temple and saying: Hosanna to the Son of David! They became indignant and said to him, "Do you hear what they say? And Jesus said to them: Yes; Have you never read: Out of the mouths of children and those who suck, have you perfected praise? "(Matthew 21: 15-16)

Praise to God is perfected. No famous Christian singer can be equated to a child. A child's praise of praise, which can disturb some adults, is listened to with great complacency and attention up there in the heavens.

A child can be called by God to exercise a ministry

"Then the word of the Lord came to me [the prophet Jeremiah], saying, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I sanctified you, I gave you a prophet to the nations. And I said: Ah! Ah, Lord Jehovah! The thing is, I do not know how to talk, because I'm a child. And Jehovah said to me: Do not say: I am a child; because you will go to everything he sends you, and you will say everything he tells you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord. "(Jeremiah 1: 4-8)

A child can also be taken into account to exercise a "great" ministry such as the complex ministry of prophecy. Jeremiah was used by God to be a prophet, even though he was a child who did not know much nor could he speak very well.

You are a child? Then get ready, because you do not know if the Lord can call you right now to preach His Word.

Children are very important to Gos and his kingdom, that is why He said "let the children come to me for they inherit the kingdom of God.

Children are one of the precious gifts of God to mankind. They are so unique and exceptional. That is why the Lord wants us to be like them so we can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Nice message, thanks for the effort in putting together this great message @ricardo12
